Emerald City
A few highlights from our trip:
Museum of Flight
Aquarium
A serious case of one's eyes being bigger than one's stomach!!
Space Needle

Science Center
Grandma and Grandpa Harris flew into Seattle on October 1st so we were able to go pick them up and enjoy a short vacation. We got a City Pass so we were able to do quite a few things. We only stayed for a day and a half, so we were quite worn out by the end. On Thursday we went to the Science Center and watched an Imax movie on dolphins and went to the top of the Space Needle. We swam in the motel later that night. The next morning we hit Pike Street to grab some breakfast at the outdoor market. We had fun watching the men at the fish market scare an old lady by grabbing the tail of a dead monk fish and making it move. It caught the poor old lady off guard and I'm glad she didn't die on the spot. After breakfast we went to the Aquarium, lunch at Ivars (a must in Seattle) and an Argosy Bay Cruise. Our last City Pass stop was the Museum of Flight which could have taken days to see, but we only saw a smidgen. On the way home we stopped at another must in Issaquah--Boehms Candy. We got Matterhorns, Turtles, and hand dipped ice cream bars!!!! We had a wonderful weekend.

Makes me realize that we just don't get to the west side like we used to!
I know what you mean. It's a whole other world over there.
Looks like a fun time, too bad the weather wasn't more cooperative.
